The website is owned and operated by Shenzhen Aodeke Optoelectronics Co., Ltd., a company registered in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, China. The website may be accessed internationally, but you are responsible for complying with laws applicable in your location.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms apply from the date shown above and do not retroactively alter an accepted order unless required by law or agreed by both parties.

2. Definitions and Contracting Party

  • “Company,” “Seller,” “we,” “us,” and “our” mean Shenzhen Aodeke Optoelectronics Co., Ltd.
  • “FloodBarrierStore” means the online sales and information website operated by the Company.
  • “Eudore” means the product brand used for flood-barrier systems offered through FloodBarrierStore.
  • “Site” or “website” means www.floodbarrierstore.com and its pages.
  • “Buyer,” “you,” and “your” mean the person or organization accessing the Site or purchasing products.
  • “Goods” or “products” mean products supplied by the Seller, including custom aluminum flood-barrier systems and related components.

Unless an order document expressly names another seller, the contracting seller for purchases made through FloodBarrierStore is Shenzhen Aodeke Optoelectronics Co., Ltd. Authorized dealers or installation providers are independent businesses unless expressly identified otherwise in writing.

3. Content, Accuracy & Intellectual Property

  • Website content, including product information, photographs, videos, guides and safety information, is provided for general information and is not a substitute for site-specific engineering, construction, insurance or legal advice.
  • We make reasonable efforts to keep information accurate. Product specifications, availability, appearance and packaging may change. The final approved quotation, configuration drawing, invoice or order confirmation controls if it conflicts with general website content.
  • Website content, trademarks, photographs, graphics and logos are owned by the Company or used with permission. You may not reproduce, sell, distribute or commercially exploit them without written permission.
  • Third-party trademarks and materials remain the property of their respective owners. Their appearance does not necessarily imply endorsement or affiliation.

You may not use the Site unlawfully, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, scrape personal information, distribute malware, send spam, or misrepresent your affiliation with the Company.

To report potentially infringing material, email [email protected].

Our Privacy & Security Policy explains how Shenzhen Aodeke Optoelectronics Co., Ltd. collects, uses and protects personal information through FloodBarrierStore and is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

5. Website Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Site and its general informational content are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every general statement is suitable for every building, opening, flood condition or jurisdiction.

Product performance depends on the approved configuration, opening dimensions, expected water depth, wall and floor strength, anchoring, installation quality, deployment, seal condition and maintenance. General website statements do not replace a project-specific review.

Nothing in these Terms excludes product warranties expressly provided in our Warranty Policy or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party will be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from use of the Site or purchase of products, including loss of profit, revenue or business opportunity, except where such limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

The Company’s aggregate liability relating to a product order will not exceed the amount paid for the product giving rise to the claim, except for liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including where applicable liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or mandatory consumer remedies.

Third-party websites are used at your own risk. Links do not necessarily imply endorsement, partnership or affiliation.

7. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify the Company and its directors, employees and agents against third-party claims arising from your unlawful use of the Site, infringement of another party’s rights, unauthorized modification or resale of products, or material breach of these Terms. This provision does not apply to the extent a claim was caused by the Company.

8. Submissions

You retain ownership of photographs, measurements, feedback and other materials you submit. You grant the Company a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, reproduce and use those materials as reasonably necessary to prepare quotations, configure products, fulfil orders, provide support and operate the business.

We will not use identifiable customer project photographs for public marketing without permission. You represent that you have the right to provide submitted materials and that they do not unlawfully infringe another person’s rights.

9. Product Availability & Order Acceptance

Products are subject to availability, production capacity and configuration review. Displaying a product, price or checkout option is an invitation to place an order and does not by itself constitute acceptance. An order becomes binding when we issue an order confirmation or otherwise confirm acceptance in writing.

We may reject, cancel or request correction of an order before acceptance if information is incomplete, pricing is clearly erroneous, payment cannot be authorized, the requested configuration is unsuitable, or supply is unavailable. If we cancel after receiving payment, we will refund the applicable amount.

10. General Website Terms

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and other policies linked from the Site, form the agreement governing use of the Site. If a provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective. Failure to enforce a right is not a waiver.

Electronic communications, order confirmations and acceptance through the Site may constitute electronic records and signatures where recognized by applicable law. You represent that you have legal capacity to enter into an agreement and authority to act for any organization you represent.

11. Terms of Sale

These Terms of Sale govern purchases for which Shenzhen Aodeke Optoelectronics Co., Ltd. is identified as Seller. By placing an order, Buyer confirms that the dimensions, specifications, delivery details and installation information supplied are accurate.

An accepted quotation, order confirmation, pro forma invoice or signed project agreement may contain additional project-specific terms. If there is a conflict, the more specific accepted order document controls for that order.

12. Pricing, Taxes & Quotations

Website prices may be estimates, starting prices or unit prices. Custom product pricing depends on opening width, protection height, installation method, support posts, finishes, shipping and other project requirements. Final pricing is stated in the accepted quotation or order confirmation.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, prices do not include import duties, customs charges, local installation, permits or taxes imposed in the destination country. Buyer is responsible for charges identified as Buyer’s responsibility in the accepted order documents. Clerical and calculation errors may be corrected before order acceptance.

13. Force Majeure

Neither party is liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, extreme weather, epidemic, war, terrorism, governmental action, labour disruption, transportation interruption, port congestion, material shortage, power failure or carrier delay. The affected party will take reasonable steps to reduce the impact and notify the other party where practicable.

14. Product Warranty

Eligible Eudore aluminum flood-barrier products are covered by our 15-Year Warranty Policy. The warranty is issued by Shenzhen Aodeke Optoelectronics Co., Ltd. and applies subject to the eligibility requirements, exclusions, installation requirements and claim procedure stated in that policy.

Warranty coverage does not replace the Buyer’s responsibility to provide accurate measurements, obtain appropriate site or structural review, follow installation instructions, deploy the system correctly and maintain seals and components. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

15. Product Suitability, Installation & Local Codes

Flood-barrier suitability depends on the opening, anticipated water depth, hydrostatic pressure, span, supporting structure, substrate, anchors, drainage, installation and maintenance. High, wide or safety-critical applications may require review by a qualified local engineer or contractor.

Buyer is responsible for checking building rules, permits, accessibility, fire and emergency-egress requirements and other laws applicable at the installation site. Installation must follow the approved configuration and current instructions. If site conditions differ from the information supplied, stop installation and contact us before proceeding.

16. Freight & Delivery

Available shipping methods, estimated transit times and related conditions are described on our Shipping Methods page and in the accepted order documents. Delivery dates are estimates unless expressly guaranteed in writing.

Buyer must provide a complete delivery address, contact telephone number and any information needed for freight access. Customs clearance, import duties and destination charges are allocated as stated in the accepted order documents.

17. Damaged, Missing or Lost Merchandise

Please inspect the shipment promptly after delivery:

  • Photograph the outer packaging, labels, product and visible damage before discarding packaging.
  • Where possible, record visible shortage or damage on the carrier’s delivery document before signing.
  • Notify us promptly at [email protected] with the order number, shipping label and clear photographs or video.
  • Keep damaged products and packaging until the carrier or Seller confirms they may be discarded.

Carrier reporting deadlines may apply. Our assistance with a carrier claim does not limit rights or remedies available under applicable law or an accepted order agreement.

18. Payment Terms

Available payment methods may include credit card, PayPal, bank transfer or approved purchase order, as shown at checkout, on the Payment Methods page or in a quotation.

Custom-manufactured products may require partial or full payment before production. Production normally begins only after payment and final configuration approval are received. Any credit terms, deposits, milestones or late-payment charges must be stated in the accepted quotation, invoice or written agreement.

19. Export, Import & Anti-Diversion

Buyer and Seller must comply with applicable export-control, sanctions, customs and import laws. Buyer must not export, re-export, transfer or use products in violation of applicable law.

Unless the accepted order documents state otherwise, Buyer is responsible for destination-country permits, import licenses, customs information and other authorizations required for lawful import and installation.

20. Governing Law, Disputes & General Provisions

Except where mandatory consumer law requires otherwise, these Terms and sales by Shenzhen Aodeke Optoelectronics Co., Ltd. are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.

Before starting formal proceedings, the parties agree to attempt in good faith to resolve a dispute through written communication. If the dispute is not resolved, it will be submitted to the competent courts or an arbitration body identified in the applicable accepted order agreement. Mandatory rights relating to consumer jurisdiction remain unaffected.

  • Assignment: Buyer may not assign an accepted order without Seller’s prior written consent, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
  • Independent parties: nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, employment relationship, joint venture or agency.
  • Severability: if a provision is invalid or unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
  • Entire agreement: these Terms and the accepted quotation, order confirmation, invoice, drawings and policies referenced in them constitute the agreement for the applicable order.
  • Account information: Buyer must provide accurate and current contact, billing, shipping and project information.
  • Returns: return eligibility and procedures are stated in our Return & Refund Policy.
